Non-techie teenage girl likes it!!
Dear Joe,
I found myself having
to repeatedly repair Windows on my teenage daughter's
computer. I finally got fed up and decided to install Ubuntu as a
dual boot Windows option.
Three months later, and of her own
choosing, she is exclusively using Ubuntu because she
says: “Not only is it faster, it has everything I
need and it just works!”
Cheers, Tom

Small business saves money!!
Joe,
With the downturn in
the economy I was looking for ways to save as much
money as possible in my small business. I had an office full
of old Windows XP machines that couldn't handle an
upgrade to Vista. Then I came across your booklet.
I decided to install Ubuntu and used a
modified version of your free script to completely
change over my office. I can't believe I can get this
system and all of the software for free! It makes me
want to kick myself for paying Microsoft for all of those
years.
Thanks, Alan

Mom
loves it for her kids!!
Aloha Joe,
I have 3 small
children that love to play all sorts of free games on
the Internet. However, those games always seemed to
infect Windows. I recently purchased a new machine and
used your instructions to install Ubuntu on my old PC
for the kids.
Not only was I totally impressed with how
little time it took to install Ubuntu, but I am also in awe of
how usable the system is, even for kids. Thanks to you,
I'm now in the process of setting up my new computer to
dual boot Linux. I will be Windows free very soon.

Longtime Ubuntu User Wishes He Had This Years Ago!!
Joe,
Last week I ran into an old friend of mine. He told me he had
just completed his Ubuntu installation a month prior using your instructions. He described how easy
the entire dual boot Linux installation process was for him since he had your step by step instructions.
And when he described everything your completely free script did, I was amazed.
I can assure you I'll be using your script to fully enable all my future Ubuntu installations.
I wish I had this resource two years ago when I was first started to dual boot Linux.

Woman
lands job with new skills!!
Dear Joe,
About eight months ago
I set up my home computer to dual boot Ubuntu
following your instructions. I just wanted to try a Linux installation
to see what all of the hype was about. Then, two months
ago I got laid off from my job.
I sent out a flurry of
resumes listing Linux and Open Office as some of my
additional skills. I'm happy to say that I was just
offered a new position at a corporation that migrated
to a Linux installation a little over a year ago. My boss told me that
my familiarity with Linux is what got me the job.
Sincerely, Alice
